Day 92: Park Guell.
After our little Gaudi tour around town, we were intrigued to hike up to Park Guell. Quite a hike, but worth the views, for sure.
The Guell family were the main patrons of Gaudi for quite some time. In his more confident days, Gaudi decided to build a colony of sorts, full of architecturally interesting (read: eccentric) houses, communal areas, etc. The little utopia was started, but never completed, and today remain a few iconic buildings. And mosaic! Everywhere!
We headed up a little later in the day, caught some amazing views of the city as the sun was setting. The buildings along the skyline were literally shining pink/orange for those few golden minutes!
