Day 3 : Oxford is quite nice.
We arrived to a rainy England, and similarly gloomy Oxford. Our assumptions were that the remainder of our time would be more of the same. We've turned out much luckier, with locals assuring us that this is some of the better weather they've seen this summer.
Our flat is in the village of Wolvercote, just at the north end of Oxford. About 20 minutes away, the city centre is much larger and more bustling than I imagined - though charming as ever.
The clouds here are fluffy and full, and the skies are as Carolina Blue as they come.
"Quite" is one of the Brit's favorite words. "Quite nice." "Quite sure." "Quite beautiful."
